The Blessing of Sri Hari Vitthal

 The appearance of the Lord is mystical and divine so is the appearance of his dear associates! One such auspicious occasion dates back to the Ekadashi of 1949!

5th July 1949 the auspicious tithi of Devshayani Ekadashi when the clock strikes 11 in the night and the ray of Sri Hari Vitthal blessed the house of Shahbai and Bhagvaan and the village of Arawade in the form of a little boy- Raghunath!

Listening to the colic cry of a newborn, Grandfather hurriedly went outside and looked up to the sky. Being an expert Astrologer he understood that a divine personality, a pure vaishanav is born in his family, who will make the whole lineage proud one day.

Eager to see the newborn, Grandmother went in a hurry to see him, the blackish-blue face of the newborn infant astonished her. She always kept saying to her daughter-in-law “what kind of boy is born, he is blackish blue in colour”.

As 11 days passed by baby’s face became normal and finally, the day of the naming ceremony arrived. Being born on Tuesday and this particular day is dedicated to Lord Rama so they gave the name to their son, Raghunath, Ragunath Patil.

Initially, no one believed the predictions that Srila Gurumaharaj's Grandfather made but with time Krishna fulfilled the predictions that a divine personality- the blessing of Sri Hari Vitthal has arrived to save everyone from the miseries of the samsara!
