Wrapping up of summer brings in the most auspicious day of our lives, the Vyaspuja of our Praandhan- Srila Gurumaharaj!

Every year Guru Maharaj Vyas puja is held in Pandharpur but last year(2021) it was held in Solapur, Maharashtra. 

And 5 days before the Vyaas Puja, Guru Maharaj and his servants shifted to Solapur.

As soon as Guru Maharaj shifted many devotees started arriving to receive his blessings and have his merciful darshan

Whoever came Guru Maharaj gave them the mercy of Krsna Prasad. One fine day some sweet prasad had fallen near the table of Guru Maharaj. As it's the month of July and due to summer after a few hours there were some swamps of ants that got into that prasad. Guru Maharaj called one of his servants and showed him the ants on prasad. Seeing this the devotee who was standing behind the servant ran to bring mortein spray. After a while the devotee brought the spray, Gurumaharaj were reading a book and the sound of the spray made him close the book and see what was happening around him. Maharaj saw the devotee using spray he immediately said – “Stop it. 

What are you doing? 

Are you going to kill them?

Stop this, don’t do this.

Carefully take them in the dust collector and leave them in some other place.”

After this Guru Maharaj instructed his personal servants not to drop Prasadam on the floor and if it happens then clean the floor immediately so there will be no ants and no need of killing them.


This pastime unfolds the merciful nature of our all-merciful lord who cares so much for each and every living entity big or small!

Once a grihastha disciple happened to converse with a Panda (Pujari) in Jagannath temple in Puri.  The Panda was narrating how Lord mercifully even today speaks and performs pastimes with certain devotees on this planet and one such person who is the senior most pujari of the temple, was narrating that in Iskcon there is one Lokanath Swami with whom Jagganath speaks!

When Gurumaharaj took sannyas he wrote a letter to his family that now I have took sannyasa and I want one more person from our family to join me, so HG Sita Mataji, Gurumaharaj’s sister took her son, who was 5-6 years old to Juhu temple.  Gurumaharaj to pick her up went to Vile Parle which is far from the temple so Gurumaharaj took the boy on his back from Vile Parle to Juhu temple on foot only to not waste Srila Prabhupāda’s money.
