Srila Prabhupada's Last Wish Told to Lokanath Swami Maharaj


The Six Goswāmis of Vṛndāvana had a special place for Giriraj in their heart and bhajan. 

Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur during his last days sang Srila Raghunatha Das Goswāmi's Nija Nikata Nivasam prayers. 

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur, a week before his departure was meditating on Giriraj. 

Srila Prabhupāda had his last desire of going on a Govardhan Parikrama- the sweet desire close to the heart of all the acharyas was revealed to Srila Gurumaharaj by Srila Prabhupāda he said "I want to see you what would be a good time for you". 

The desire which could have been said to anyone was only told to Srila Gurumaharaj, making us all know how special he is! 

Due to Srila Prabhupāda's fragile health going for parikrama on a bullock cart was not favourable so a bus was arranged for the same. 

Everyone present there was trying their best to go for parikrama, and Gurumaharaj thought to try as well. "May I also come Srila Prabhupāda" 

"You will be our leader", this statement justified and proved everything about Srila Prabhupāda's love for Gurumaharaj

Shrirang Chavan was a relative of  Gurumaharaj from Mumbai who came to inspire him and convinced him to rejoin and complete his studies. Once a grihastha disciple happened to converse with a Panda (Pujari) in Jagannath temple in Puri.  The Panda was narrating how Lord mercifully even today speaks and performs pastimes with certain devotees on this planet and one such person who is the senior most pujari of the temple, was narrating that in Iskcon there is one Lokanath Swami with whom Jagganath speaks!

When Gurumaharaj took sannyas he wrote a letter to his family that now I have took sannyasa and I want one more person from our family to join me, so HG Sita Mataji, Gurumaharaj’s sister took her son, who was 5-6 years old to Juhu temple.  Gurumaharaj to pick her up went to Vile Parle which is far from the temple so Gurumaharaj took the boy on his back from Vile Parle to Juhu temple on foot only to not waste Srila Prabhupāda’s money.
