When Gurumaharaj came back from Nagpur to Sangli he revealed his heart to his eldest brother and sister-in-law who came to meet him and then he left for Wardha. His Sister in law informed everyone at home.

All the family members were astonished, How can Raghunath do this? How can he go to Wardha all alone without informing?

Gurumaharaj's eldest brother understood, now that he is inclined to spirituality he cannot become a doctor, and the same thing happened when Gurumaharaj appeared for the medical exam he couldn’t do well in it.

Then Maharaj took admitted to BSc 2nd a year but Maharaj was unable to concentrate on his studies and his mind was engaged in only one thought "When would I be like them and serve?"

He went for BSc 2nd year exam and came back home without even attempting the exam.

Coming back he informed his parents that he couldn't do further studies anymore. His parents couldn't say anything and his friends were unhappy knowing that Gurumaharaj left his studies.

Shrirang Chavan was a relative of  Gurumaharaj from Mumbai who came to inspire him and convinced him to rejoin and complete his studies. Once a grihastha disciple happened to converse with a Panda (Pujari) in Jagannath temple in Puri.  The Panda was narrating how Lord mercifully even today speaks and performs pastimes with certain devotees on this planet and one such person who is the senior most pujari of the temple, was narrating that in Iskcon there is one Lokanath Swami with whom Jagganath speaks!

When Gurumaharaj took sannyas he wrote a letter to his family that now I have took sannyasa and I want one more person from our family to join me, so HG Sita Mataji, Gurumaharaj’s sister took her son, who was 5-6 years old to Juhu temple.  Gurumaharaj to pick her up went to Vile Parle which is far from the temple so Gurumaharaj took the boy on his back from Vile Parle to Juhu temple on foot only to not waste Srila Prabhupāda’s money.
