Who is the President?

As Gurumaharaj's brother got the pamphlet of Hare Krsna he started searching for Gurumaharaj everywhere but he couldn’t find him. Finally, he got to know that there are the biggest Hare Krsna centres in Juhu.

So at the end of the day, he went there. Gurumaharaj's brother went to the beach side and from a far distance he could see a person, who is in a saffron robe, children were playing around him as he was doing kirtan. As he went close by he recognized him and started screaming in joy "Raghunath! Raghunath! and hugged him with teary eyes. Shrirang Chauhan and Maharaj's eldest brother sat there and started questioning Gurumaharaj "Would you come home? Would you come with us? Why did you do this?

Gurumaharaj with his head down didn't speak a single word. Gurumaharaj was silent for every question asked and 3 hours went by. "Your mother hasn’t eaten or drunk anything for the past 8 days, at least go home for her!" said Shrirang, to which Gurumaharaj said only one sentence I will have to ask the president.

 "Who is your president?", they inquired.

"It's Srila Prabhupada, he has gone downtown for preaching when he will come back we can meet him. And if Prabhupada said no then I won’t come."

Then they met Prabhupada and Prabhupada said no. They tried convincing Prabhupad then Prabhupada finally spoke – “ I will let him go on one condition, he is a very nice boy. And if you leave this boy here only at our centre then only I will let him go.”
